What to cut / what to add

These swaps shift space from individual threats and supporting cards toward a steadier Angel game plan. The priorities are card access, mana development, protection, and flexible interaction, rather than simply adding more finishers. Cutting Seraph of the Sword, Vanguard Seraph, Segovian Angel, and Dazzling Angel does mean losing creatures Giada directly rewards with counters and can help cast. That's a real trade-off, but keeping every Angel leaves less room to address the deck's support needs. The $87.22 package keeps Giada central while aiming to make the remaining threats better supported.

    Calling All Angels FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

It's worth considering if you want an Angel-focused combat deck. Out of the box, Giada gives it a clear plan: she helps cast Angels and rewards a growing board with additional +1/+1 counters. Its weaker areas are consistent card access, mana development, and protecting a developed board. The roughly $87 of swaps on this page target those weaknesses rather than replacing the deck's core strategy.
Giada, Font of Hope leads the deck. She has flying and vigilance, and each other Angel you control enters with an additional +1/+1 counter for each Angel you already control. She can also tap to add one white mana that can only be spent to cast an Angel spell.
No. Her mana ability helps you cast Angel spells; it doesn't put them directly onto the battlefield. Her counter ability rewards each other Angel as it enters, based on how many Angels you already control.
The ten additions total $87.22 at the supplied prices. Trouble in Pairs is the largest individual expense at $25.64, followed by Archangel of Thune at $17.97 and Land Tax at $16.77.
