Import from any tracker
Already tracking your cards somewhere else? Bring them over. We read standard CSV exports from the popular tracker apps — export, drop the file in, done. A 5,000-card collection imports in under a minute, and you can keep adding cards manually with search as you open packs.
Not on the list? Any CSV with a card name column and a quantity column will import cleanly. We match common header spellings - name, card, card name, quantity, qty, count, copies, set, edition, collector number, Scryfall ID - so exports from smaller tools and hand-built spreadsheets usually work first time. Quantities are summed per card, and a Scryfall ID or set plus collector number lets us pin down the exact printing you own rather than guessing.
How import works
Export a CSV
In Manabox, Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckbox or whichever tracker you use, export your collection as CSV. There is no need to clean the file up or rename any columns first.
Upload and review
Drop the file in. We detect the source format, map the name, quantity, set, collector number and Scryfall ID columns, and show you a preview with the card count and any warnings before saving.
Add or replace
Choose add to existing to merge the new cards into your collection, or reset and re-import to replace it entirely. Then browse, search, and let the AI build decks from what you own.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I import my MTG collection?
Export your collection as a CSV from whichever app or site you already use, then upload that file on the ManaBuilder upload page. We read the header row automatically and map the columns we need - card name, quantity, set or edition, collector number, and Scryfall ID when it is present - so in most cases you do not have to configure anything. If auto-detect gets something wrong you can pick your source app from a list of presets instead. Before anything is saved you see a preview with the detected format, the number of cards found, and any warnings.
Can I import from ManaBox or Moxfield?
Yes. Manabox and Moxfield CSV exports are both supported directly, along with Archidekt, Deckbox, TCGplayer, MTGGoldfish, Deckstats.net, DragonShield Scanner and Decked Builder. Plain text Arena and MTGO lists work too, which is handy for decks rather than full collections. If your app is not on the list, export a generic CSV with a card name column and a quantity column and auto-detect will usually handle it, because we match on common header names such as name, card, quantity, qty, count and copies.
Is my collection data private?
Yes. Your collection is stored against your account and protected by row-level security in our database, which means queries can only ever return rows belonging to the signed-in user. Nobody else can browse, search or export your list, and we do not sell or share collection data. Uploaded files are parsed into card rows rather than kept as files. If you want to start over you can wipe everything from the collection page with the delete-all option, or use reset and re-import to replace your collection in a single upload.
Is the collection manager free?
Yes. Creating an account, importing your cards, browsing and searching your collection, and seeing your colour, rarity and format breakdowns are all free, and there is no cap on how many cards you can store. Generating AI deck lists and cubes from your collection uses credits, and every new account starts with some to try it out. So you can keep your entire collection online permanently at no cost and only spend credits when you actually want the AI to build something for you.
